What is Casa dei Bambini
Casa dei Bambini was the name Maria Montessori gave the Children Houses where children were educated, cared for, and treated as whole persons...body, mind, and soul.
I have chosen it as the my main blog heading for several reasons:
1) my home is a Children's House
2) admiration of Maria Montessori's educational teachings
3) Casa dei Bambini was Catholic-influenced and I am a Catholic
4) we home educate and use the Montessori Method as much as possible in our educational process
This blog will also show weavings of English educator Charlotte Mason-style learning and, religion wise, how we use the Catechisis of the Good Shepherd in our home.

So sorry. I'm just now seeing this post.
I would recommend "The Montessori Method" written by Dr. Maria Montessori. This is the book *I* prefer.
Books that *show* you how it's done would be the "Teaching Montessori in the Home" series by Elizabeth Hainstock.
